Requirement of Apprentice Trainee for Library
Applications are invited for engagement of Apprentice Trainee for Library in co-ordination with BOAT (Board Of Apprenticeship Training), Mumbai.
1.Post : Apprentice Trainee Library
2.Qualification: MLISc / B. Lib.(graduating during or after summer 2023 are ELIGIBLE to apply)
3.Stipend : Rs. 12,300/-p.m.
Terms & Conditions
(a) The apprenticeship is purely a training engagement for a period of one year and shall not confer any right or claim for regular employment in the Institute upon completion of the training.
(b) The number of vacancies to be filled in, may vary & number of candidates to be called for written test and/or interaction shall be at the sole discretion of the Director VNIT, Nagpur.
(c) Mere fulfilment /satisfying eligibility criteria do not imply that the candidates will be called for written test and interaction.
(d) Candidates called for the written test and interaction shall bring their original relevant documents/certificates for verification.
Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply online through the Google Form provided on the official VNIT website (www.vnit.ac.in). After submitting the Google Form, submit the duly filled and signed application addressed to the Director, VNIT Nagpur mentioning “Application for Apprentice Trainee Library” enclosing self-attested copies of certificates of all essentially required qualifications with photograph, so as to reach to “The Library, VNIT, Nagpur-440010,” on or before 22nd October 2026 up to 5.00 p.m. Incomplete applications or applications received after the prescribed closing date and time shall not be considered in any case. The list of eligible candidates to be called for written test / interaction will be displayed on the Institute website www.vnit.ac.in as well as VNIT Library Notice Board on 27 th October 2026 at 11.00 a.m. Short-listed candidates are requested to appear for the written test interaction on 2nd November 2026 at 10.00 a.m. in Library VNIT at their own cost along with their original relevant documents. The decision of the Director, VNIT Nagpur will be final in all respect.
